Consultations

Athena consults with professionals and individuals to create healthy buildings and living spaces including homes, offices and schools. Consultations focus on the following key areas:

• Identifying problem areas that affect people's health in existing buildings such as homes, offices and schools.
• Proposing non-hazardous solutions to common hazards such as EMR's (electromagnetic radiation), IAQ (indoor air quality), VOC's (volatile organic compounds), out-gassing chemicals from building materials, household chemicals, pesticides, water quality and water damage including mold.
• Consulting during the design and construction of new buildings.
• Providing information on how to live in and maintain healthy buildings.

Consultations are available both by telephone and on-site.

Speaking Engagements

As a public speaker and educator, Athena gives compelling presentations explaining how buildings impact our health and what we can do to protect our children and ourselves. Athena has been a guest speaker on radio and television in the U.K. and U.S.A. on matters relating to health.

Writing Projects

Athena currently writes a regular column for EcoDwell, the quarterly professional newsletter for the International Institute for Bau-biologie and Ecology. She has also written articles, given interviews and is frequently consulted and quoted in several National and International publications (see Articles page).
